Balloon Printing - Supplying Artwork
In order to help us achieve first class results, please supply top-quality artwork by email in PC format compatible with Adobe Illustrator (.ai and .eps or .pdf files). If printing in 1 colour we can usually use a hi-res jpeg, tif, gif or most other formats.
We can create simple, text-only artwork free of charge but should you require anything more complex, artwork charges will apply based on time taken.
Photographs – We print photos in 1 colour so it will look like a black and white photo when printed. For best results, a bright, sharp photo with good contrast between the main subject (usually a person) and the background should be supplied by email.
A minimum charge of £12 will apply for artwork received that requires work to meet the required standard
Multi-Colour Printing
On latex balloons we can print up to 8 spot (i.e. individual colours), on foil balloons up to 6 spot colours. Please provide colour seperated artwork (i.e. one piece of artwork for each colour to be printed - ideally in black) and a colour composite for reference. We request at least 2mm seperation between colours as semi-inflated balloons are not exactly a solid printing surface and there and there can be fine movement of the balloons between printing screens meaning the alignment of colours will not necessarily be exactly the same from one balloon to the next. Close registration printing is possible but may involve additional cost: please ask. 4-colour process print is available but the minimum order is 10,000 latex or 5,000 foils with a lengthy lead time.

JPG (300dpi or greater)
PNG (high res)
TIF (300dpi or greater)
PC Formats only. Unfortunately we cannot currently accept Mac files
